Rise Like A Phenix Charity Raffle

We were given the opportunity to help Phenix Cowart, a recent Northside High graduate who was diagnosed with leukemia. Strength Ahead launched a 50/50 raffle that raised a total of $5710. Half of the money raised went to her family for expenses and the other half went to the lucky winner. The drawing was held on January 16th during a Facebook live session where Joshua Purvis was announced the winner. Joshua Purvis graciously and generously donated his half of the winnings to Phenix and her family.
